Terms & Conditions of Holiday Rental
Please Read Carefully

  1. A bond of $400 is required with every booking. This will be refunded by post within 4 weeks after the stay if the property is left in a clean and tidy condition and that there are no breakages or items missing. If breakages or items are missing, the tenant will be given an itemized account with the balance of the bond. The house is to be left in a clean and tidy condition. Please report all breakages to Penny McAlister 08 8339 8239.
  2. The tenant agrees that on all matters pertaining to the cleanliness of the property and any breakages that may occur during the period of tenancy it shall be solely at the owner’s discretion in regard to payments for any cleaning or breakages in relation to each tenancy.
  3. The number of occupants including children must NOT exceed the number of beds stated in the property description (10). Overcrowding will render you liable for immediate termination of your booking.
  4. Council rubbish bins are provided. Please ensure you put your bin out during your stay on Sunday night for collection Monday morning.
  5. All cutlery, crockery, pillows, sheets, doonas, doona  covers, blankets, towels and tea towels are supplied. Please bring your own beach towels.
  6. All weekly bookings are from Friday to Friday during High Season unless otherwise negotiated.
  7. Check-In time is 2pm and Check-out time is 10am. This time must be strictly adhered to allow time for inspection prior to the next tenant.
  8. A deposit of 50% of the total amount of the booking is required within 7 days of booking to confirm the rental. Payments can be made in instalments throughout the year but the full payment must be received 14 days prior to the stay. No bookings shall be considered confirmed until receipt of the required deposit. All monies to be paid prior to handing over of the keys. A booking shall expire after 7 days if the deposit has not been received.
  9. Payments can be made by cheque or Direct Deposit (refer to your invoice for details)
  10. Any money paid for a booking is non-refundable. If the tenant cancels a booking for any reason whatsoever no refund will be given unless the premises are relet for the total period of the booking. If a tenant is asked to leave the property due to unacceptable behaviour, no refund will be given.
